BLOG TOUR DE TROOPS IS HERE.

For most of us the Memorial Day holiday means the beginning of Summer, watching the kids swim while we barbeque hot dogs and hamburgers.  For many of our brave soldiers it means much more.  I can't imagine the sacrifices people like my father and my niece, Neva, have given for the rest of us to enjoy the weekend in peace.  This Memorial Day, I’m joining over 30 authors in thanking our troops for keeping our country safe and free.    

For my puny part I'm giving away a free copy of my Award-Winning eBook, "A Touch of Deceit."  Everyone who leaves a comment will receive a free copy, simply let me know which version you prefer, the Kindle, ePub, or PDF version along with your email and I'll send it off to you.  Also for everyone who comments, a troop member will receive a free copy as well.  You will also automatically be entered in a drawing for a free Kindle.

    Memorial day for me has been a time to remember my loved ones. Today I remember my brother who died May 28, 1987 in a car accident at the age of 17. I appreciate the military because I have had members of my family serve at one time or another. This tour is a great way to show support of our troops. I am also excited to start reading some of these wonderful books. I have really developed a love for the indie books.

    As an ex-Navy member, a wife of an ex-Navy SEAL, mother of an ex-Army member I can truly appreciate what is means to be in the military and fighting for our freedom. I come from a long line of military members, from myself to my father (Army) and grandfather (Marines) to uncles (Air Force) and cousins (Army, Air Force).     I have several family members (father, husband, brother, cousins, and uncles) who are either retired or active military. I think this is such an awesome idea! I know that some soldiers have nothing to do but read when they are stationed overseas so I'm sure this will be very much appreciated!     I think one of the most important things we can do is thank our troups. I see so many people celebrate Memorial Day and have no clue why! We make sure we explain to out kids the reason and go to something in honor of the troups, both present and past! Thank you for honoring out troups and trying to spread some joy!

Do they not understand if was those same people that protect the right for them to even have an opinion.     Hi,

    Thank you for participating in the "Blog Tour de Troops". I do not have immediate family in the service right now, but my grandfather fought in WWII and my uncles fought in the Vietnam War. I greatly appreciate what you and the other authors are doing for our men and women in service.

    Thank you to the men and women in service for the sacrifices that you, and your families, make each and every day. Thank you for keeping America safe and the things we take for granted each day because of what you do.
